Wholesale The Robert Stanley Collection

Antiquities

Louan and I've made a little trip to the Louvre. It's been a while since Louan passion for civilization Egyptian (see http://balthazarandco.blogspot.com/2009/06/archeologie.html ). The trip had to be postponed several times (illness of my grandparents, SNCF strike ...) but finally the big day has arrived!

We obviously prepared this release. It seemed important to know Louan recognize Egyptian gods, he can have fun again.

For this, a book, "In the land of the Nile" with works that we find in the Louvre:

And some figures
Egyptian Gods ( bought for her birthday) to create an activity in mind montessori.

Material

6 figures
6 labels name
6 cards in 3 parts

Presentation

The guide introduces each figure (his name, the child repeats) and then tells an anecdote about the God. It follows a lesson to the child three times and then place the label name in the figures and self-corrects with the cards into 3 parts.

Finally, the big day arrived, Luan was insatiable! Here are some photos taken by my favorite Egyptologist:
Bes, god of our favorite (very nice contrast to his appearance)
